I know I haven’t updated in a long while. I’m hoping to eventually get some strips back up and get things on the ball. But I’ve decided I want to have a back log before I start posting. But before I can do that I’ve got some inner art demons to slay. I’ll let you all know when I’ve got things back on track.

Howdy folks its your nutty artist again!

I thought I’d let you all now that for now I’m going to be doing the strip in black and white with a smathering of color in there when I have the time. I find black and white much faster to whip out and should help me get strips up a might faster.

But on the brighter side I thought I’d post up a pic for the 2 or 3 of you that actually read the strip. I’ve been messing around with some new coloring stuff and this is the result. I hope to impove it in the future and eventually get a few more colored strip up. But don’t hold your breat ;)  To check it out Cick Here

Welp its been a while but I think I’m ready to fire her back up again. I’ve settled into my new job and ye ol’ creative joices are starting to flow once more. I’ve got a strip inked and ready to be scanned & colors. So keep an eye out tomarrow for an all new Everyday Geek

Alright here’s the short and tall of it. The comic is gonna be on hold for a little while. I don’t know how often I’m going to be able to update or when over the next few weeks. I start a new job on the 31st and I know its going to take a lot of my mental energies when I first begin. I’m not planning on putting the comic on hold forever, just until I can get my feet at this new job. I’m hoping by taking this position I’ll have more creative energies to do my own projects instead of draining myself doing art for other people (I’m currently a full time graphic artist). So bare with us. There may be a comic here and there but I can’t promise regularity for a while.

-The Artist

As you may or may not have noticed, we again don’t have a comic up. Our artist Liza is recovering nicely from a bout of bronchitis and sinusitis, however she now has a raging case of… hives. Seems she had an allergic reaction to something on Sunday, and our chief suspects are a fat-free banana muffin mix or an errant serving of Alka-Seltzer cold medicine. After a dip in an oatmeal bath and being lathered with copious quantities of Benadryl cream, she’s able to refrain from tearing off her skin with her fingernails. As of right now the ETA for another comic is a Blizzard-esque “when it’s done.”, and as a bonus we promise not to nerf your favorite class.

-Update: Ok I’m still sorta doped up so bear with me. I went to the Dr on Tuesday. Turns out the antibiotics he had me on cause a major allergic reaction (head to toe hives). He prescribed steroids and an anti-itch pill that makes me not only sleepy, but pretty damn loopy to boot. I’m going to attempt to get some drawing done tonight and over the weekend. So hang in there folks while I get everything back on track.
